Mark Brouwer has recently come to Evergreen Park to serve as the pastor of Jacob’s Well. Mark has been the founding pastor of two churches (in Austin, TX, and Minneapolis, MN). For the past five years he has been the director of Recovery Remixed, which he will continue to lead on a part-time basis. Mark and his wife Charlene have been married for 25 years, and they are the proud parents of Alexander and Jonathan. They are also the owners/parents/servants of a miniature Golden Doodle named Dexter.
Hi Pastor, my brother is looking for a Church for he and his family to attend in Evergreen Park. He left his home Church due to heretical teaching by the lead pastor. As pastor my self I know how stressful the ministry can be, and I personally believe in a generous orthodoxy, however I believe the health and wealth movement distorts the Gospel. Bottom line my brother and I believe in Basic Nicene Christianity, and as I said earlier I believe in a generous orthodoxy. Just wondering If you could drop me an email describing what you believe as a Church. Thanks!
